This was one of series of Beach Cricket cartoons I did over two or three summers, when there was no political news and, if there was, no-one was interested in it. This is what in journalism we call the Silly Season. Anyone who has an unpublished story on their computer, however silly, can get in into the paper. However, the Beach Cricket series proved move popular than most of my normal political cartoons….
